Sendr Founding Story
Sendr was not created by copying another vendor or as an ego-driven startup launch. Founders John and Dave built Sendr to enhance their own lead generation efforts as two growth professionals combining forces. Their goal was to increase buyer engagement for a major client, and the results were so successful that they had to pause the client's Instantly campaigns twice to free up more Calendly availability.
Sendr is a platform designed by growth professionals, for growth professionals—driven by firsthand experience. And this is only the beginning. The team is just getting started on the "blue ocean" features they envision to push outreach innovation even further.

By way of an intro to the founding team, here's a list of some growth peaks scaled before building Sendr:
⚡ Accelerating growth for a developer marketplace from £1m to £8m annual revenue in 2.5 years, primarily through email outreach
⚡ Bootstrapping and optimising a fitness eCommerce business during the pandemic to a £1m turnover from a £2k investment
⚡ Launching multiple SaaS businesses in to market using email outreach, one which excited for £160m in 2022
⚡ Building an eLearning platform and community with 2,000+ members and mastering video outreach
⚡ Self-generating leads in sales and partnership roles in major Silicon Valley startups, one which Google acquired

We could list just as many failures. Dave hit a growth ceiling after a large Series A funding round, and John faced the eCommerce crash post-pandemic. So we met in 2023 as growth freelancers working on a venture build for the FT, and we combined our years of growth experience to take our outreach campaigns to another level.
Our View on Growth
Yes, AI is built into Sendr to free up coffee breaks instead of consuming time with data prep. However, when AI is used poorly, it can harm human connection and conversion. Video pitching, meaningful personalization, and elevated outreach experiences are the new table stakes.
