Getting Started

Head over to the Automations tab in Sendr to get started. Click Browse Library, then select GHL to access your automation template. Click Continue to install the automation and move forward after connecting your integrations.

Step 1: Configure GHL Form Submission Workflow

  1. In GHL, click Create Workflow.

  2. Add a trigger and set it to Form Submitted.

  3. Select the specific form to ensure your workflow responds only to targeted submissions.

  4. Save your trigger settings.

  5. Access additional actions or fine-tune your webhook integration directly from the menu.

  6. Paste the Sendr Webhook URL and map the form fields (First Name, Last Name, Email, Company, Website) to send personalized details to Sendr.

  7. Save the webhook configuration to ensure each form submission triggers the automation.

Submit a test form to verify that the data is correctly sent to Sendr.

Step 2: Generate Personalized Sendr Page

  1. In Sendr Automation Builder, map the dynamic video background and other variables (First Name, Company, etc.) to your Sendr page template.

  2. Click Save after mapping all fields.

  3. Set up the outgoing request to POST the generated data back to GHL.

Step 3: Receive Data Back in GHL & Update Contact Records

  1. Create a new workflow in GHL and select Inbound Webhook as the trigger.

  2. Copy the URL and paste it into Sendr as the endpoint to send enriched data.

  3. Map the webhook fields to the corresponding contact fields in GHL (e.g., Sendr_URL, HTML GIF, etc.).

  4. Add a Wait step if needed (e.g., 5 minutes) to ensure the data syncs correctly.

  5. Use the Find Contact step to match by Email and automatically update the contact record.

  6. If no contact is found, configure fallback logic to send the data to the CRM.

  7. Save all actions to ensure the workflow is fully configured.

Testing the Automation

  1. Enable the automation and submit a GHL form.

  2. Verify that the data is received in Sendr and that the personalized page and GIF are generated.

  3. Confirm that GHL updates the contact record with the new Sendr URL and GIF.

  4. Check automation logs in real time under History to ensure everything works end-to-end.
