Automation Overview
Workflow Steps:
Instantly: Lead marked as Interested
Slack: Send notification to your team
Sendr: Generate personalized page/video
Instantly: Search for the lead
Instantly: Update lead information
Instantly: Move lead to the next sequence in the campaign
The goal is to automate follow-up workflows, reduce manual work, and make your outreach faster and more personalized.
Step 1 Install your Instantly Template
Open Sendr and navigate to Browse Library in the Automations Tab
Click on Instantly View Library
Select the Positive reply triggers personalized video follow-up
Click Install
Ensure your Instantly & Slack account is connected
Select the Instantly Campaign & Slack Channel you want to use for this automation
Click continue and head over My Automations Tab
Choose the trigger event: Lead marked as Interested.
Now a Template is Updated
Finally Test the trigger to ensure Sendr can detect when leads are marked as Interested.
At this point, Sendr will listen for any lead that gets tagged as Interested in Instantly.
Step 2 Send Slack Notification
Add a new Action after the trigger.
Select Slack as the app.
Choose Send Message (or the Slack channel notification action).
Connect your Slack account (if needed).
Configure the message:
Include lead details from Instantly (name, email, campaign).
Example message: "New interested lead detected: {{Lead Name}} - {{Lead Email}}".
Test this action to ensure your Slack channel receives a notification when the trigger fires.
This keeps your team informed in real-time about every positive lead.
Step 3 Generate a Personalized Sendr Page/Video
Add another Action and select Sendr.
Choose Generate Page / Video.
Connect your Sendr account if not already connected.
Configure the page/video:
Map lead details from Instantly to Sendr (name, company, email).
Choose a template for the page/video.
Optionally, include dynamic personalization, such as {{Lead Name}} in the video script or page content.
Test to ensure the Sendr page/video is generated correctly.
At this stage, your lead will receive a personalized Sendr follow-up automatically.
Step 4 Search for the Lead in Instantly
Add a new Action, select Instantly, and choose Search Lead.
Map the lead identifier (usually email) from the trigger to the search field.
This ensures that Sendr can find the correct lead record to update in the next steps.
Searching the lead is essential for making updates to the correct record in Instantly.
Step 5 Update Lead in Instantly
Add another Action, select Instantly, and choose Update Lead.
Map the necessary fields:
Update status to reflect the Sendr page/video was sent.
Include any custom fields or notes you want in Instantly.
Test this action to ensure the lead record is updated correctly.
This keeps your CRM in sync and automatically logs interactions.
Step 6 Move Lead to Sub-Sequence in Campaign
Add the final Action, select Instantly, and choose Move Lead to Sub-Sequence.
Select the campaign sub-sequence where the lead should go next.
Map the lead identifier to ensure the correct lead moves.
Test to confirm the lead moves to the intended sub-sequence automatically.
Your lead is now fully transitioned into the next step of your campaign without manual intervention.
Final Notes
Order Matters: The sequence of actions ensures notifications, personalization, and updates happen in the correct order.
Dynamic Personalization: Leverage Sendr’s dynamic fields for a highly tailored experience.
Multiple Accounts: Sendr supports multiple Instantly or Slack accounts, which is useful if you manage several campaigns or teams.
