The Google Search Query enrichment allows you to generate personalized Google search URLs using your contact data. These URLs can then be used to create scrolling background in your landing page videos β€” adding context, personalization, and a real-time feel to your outreach.

What it does

This enrichment generates a Google search link based on your chosen query. You can use variables from your contact table (like {{company}}) to make the search dynamic and personalized for each contact.

Once the search URL is created, you can add it to your template as a scrolling background behind your video - helping your message feel more relevant and specific without manual video editing.

Why use it

A scrolling Google search in the background of a landing page adds immediate context and personalization. It captures attention and reinforces your message by showing the prospect something that directly relates to their company or situation.

Example use case

A company using Sendr was helping clients collect online reviews. To illustrate the need, they used the Google Search Query enrichment to build a search like {{company}} reviews. On each personalized landing page, the background showed a live scroll of the search results β€” often highlighting that the company had little or no presence in review platforms.

This simple visual added credibility and urgency to their pitch without needing to say much.

How to set it up

  1. Click New Action in your table

  2. Select Google Search Query

  3. Build your query using text and dynamic variables (e.g. {{company}} reviews, {{company}} open roles, etc.)

  4. Run the enrichment - Sendr will generate a search URL for each contact

  5. Add the URL as a scrolling background in your landing page template

Best practices

  • Use specific, high-impact queries β€” like {{company}} reviews, {{company}} Glassdoor, or {{company}} competitors

  • Keep your queries short for better visual clarity

  • Make sure the variable fields (like {{company}}) are correctly filled in your contact list

  • Preview the result before finalizing your video to ensure the search is meaningful

The Google Search Query enrichment is a simple but powerful way to add visual context to your message. It works especially well for value props related to visibility, reputation, hiring, and competitive positioning.
