Overview

This automation allows you to track button clicks in Sendr and send instant Slack notifications to your team. Unlike webhook-based workflows, this automation uses a native Sendr event trigger for button clicks.

When triggered:

  1. A lead clicks a specific button in Sendr

  2. A Slack notification is sent to the selected channel

This workflow runs in real time and requires minimal setup.

What This Automation Does

When a lead interacts with a button in Sendr:

  • The Button Click event is captured

  • Lead details (like name, email, and page) are sent to a Slack channel

  • The team is notified immediately for follow-up or awareness

This ensures that high-intent interactions are flagged in real time, helping your team act faster.

Step 1: Set Up the Button Click Trigger in Sendr

  1. Go to Automations in Sendr.

  2. Click Create Automation.

  3. Select Trigger β†’ Button Clicked.

  4. Choose the specific button you want to track.

  5. Click Continue.

This ensures that every click on this button will start the automation.

Step 2: Send Slack Notification

  1. Add a new step β†’ Send Slack Message.

  2. Connect your Slack account or select your workspace.

  3. Choose the channel where you want notifications to appear.
